  • Creating an original dinosaur-themed garden

    Mathieu Croix

Dinosaurs are an unusual decoration theme in the garden. But if you want to surprise your guests or entertain your children, we invite you to add a few dinosaur statues to your garden or terrace. Success guaranteed!

Whether you're a dinosaur fan or not, these prehistoric creatures are intriguing. And many childhood memories are associated with the dinosaurs that filled our toy boxes. As adults, many of us still appreciate the strange beauty of these prehistoric creatures.

    Creating a themed garden

There are, of course, a thousand ways to personalize your garden. Adding statues is one of them. Depending on the type of statue you choose, you can create an original universe that reflects your tastes or interests.

A dinosaur garden is an excellent way of getting children interested not only in these strange creatures, but also in the nature that surrounds them and their way of life. You can create a fun and educational trail in your garden. What could be more exciting than discovering prehistory through realistic statues?

The world of dinosaurs: a fascinating universe

Often described as massive and heavy, dinosaurs were in fact highly energetic and athletic animals. Some were as small as chickens (55 cm tall), while others could reach 12 meters in length. Likewise, their weight was highly variable, with some weighing less than 3 kg and others over 70 tons.

Dinosaurs certainly fascinate. So using them to decorate your home or garden is a great idea. And resin statues are both lightweight and durable, so they can be placed and moved to suit your every whim. Whether indoors, in a child's bedroom or playroom, or outdoors, on the terrace or in the garden.

A few words about Garden ID's dinosaur statues

There are many types of dinosaur, but some species are particularly decorative. Here are the ones we've selected.

    Parasaurolophus

The parasaurolophus is a dinosaur with a crest on its head. Herbivorous, it eats only plants. The Parasaurolophus was one of the largest dinosaurs in North America.

    Spinosaurus

This enormous carnivore, known for its long teeth and powerful jaws, lived in Africa during the Cretaceous period (100 million years ago). It is thought to have been able to swim and run on land. It is one of the largest known carnivorous dinosaurs, larger than Tyrannosaurus rex. It is estimated that it was 13 m long and weighed 7 tons or more.

    Brachiosaurus

The brachiosaurus is one of the most famous of all dinosaurs. Renowned for its long neck (around 10 m), supported by four pillar-like legs with hoof-like feet. Its head is tiny compared to the size of its body. And its whip-like tail was up to 3 m long.

    Stegosaurus

Another emblematic dinosaur, the stegosaurus lived during the Jurassic period. Herbivorous, it used its pointed tail to defend itself against predators. It measured 10 m in length.

    Technical specifications

Garden ID dinosaur statues are made of high-quality, UV-, frost- and weather-resistant resin. These highly accurate reproductions are the fruit of meticulous craftsmanship. Great attention is paid to details such as texture and color, as well as to the specific characteristics of each type of dinosaur.
